What are the prerequisites to enroll at FMCA?
There are no prerequisites or specialty courses required to be eligible for the FMCA Health Coach Certification Program. We encourage students with a broad and inclusive range of educational backgrounds, career histories, and life experiences to become Functional Medicine Certified Health Coaches (FMCHC). While many of our students have prior experience in healthcare, coaching, or business, these are not requirements.
Time Commitment
Our program is split into scheduled and flexible components so you can practice your coaching skills live and fit the rest of your learning into your life.
We expect students to devote about 8-12 hours per week learning from the faculty webinars and interviews, readings, quizzes, assignments, and discussions.
