Qualifying for Continuing Education Credits

Please determine if FMCA is an approved continuing education provider for your professional group.

PLEASE NOTE: This information does not apply to all students.

Continuing education credits are currently available for nursing professionals (AHNA), nutritionists (NANP), personal/group fitness instructors (NASM/AFAA), ICF coaches (ICF), licensed massage therapists (NCBTMB), and National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC). You must be licensed/certified as one of these professionals to receive continuing education credits (exception: you may look into self-submitting with your organization of choice).

FMCA is an approved continuing education provider for the following organizations:

If you are not a licensed professional through one of the organizations listed above, you may still be eligible for continuing education if you self-submit to the organization of your choice. Students completing the FMCA Health Coach Training Program for continuing education credits may have additional requirements to meet in order to earn credit.

Completion of all FMCA course requirements is required to receive continuing education credits. No partial credit will be provided. For more information on continuing education credits, please reach out to support@functionalmedicinecoaching.org.

**Students that are already National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC) through NBHWC may earn 36 CECs (total needed for recertification every three years) by successfully completing the FMCA program.
